Personnel

The President of the PLM Institute is Jérémy Annen, Managing Director of Ifage, a Geneva Foundation for Adult Education, since 2011. Each year about 10,000 students take Ifage courses, some in conventional classroom training, some in their companies, some by e-learning. Jérémy is also President of HR Geneva, an association of HR professionals. He has a Master in Business Administration (HEC Geneva), and a complementary education in Human Resources and Management.

The Director of the PLM Department of the Institute is Dr. John Stark, one of the founders of the discipline of PLM. In 2004 he published Product Lifecycle Management: 21st Century Paradigm for Product Realisation, the first book on the subject. The second edition was published in 2011. He has extensive experience in the PLM industry and has participated in dozens of PLM projects in countries such as Finland, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Gilles Ruffieux joined the PLM Institute in November 2013 as a trainer. Gilles has over 15 years Information Systems experience in Swiss industry, of which over 10 years in the field of PLM. He has led several major innovative projects, such as the first PLM project in Switzerland to manage industrialisation data, and the implementation of an Agile Development methodology supported by a PLM solution. In parallel with his industrial activities he has been teaching at HE-ARC and EPFL since 2011. In 2011, he joined the Geneva International PLM Group and quickly became a strong supporter of the initiative to create a PLM Institute.

The Operations Manager of the PLM Institute is Paul Gisimundo. Since 2008 he has managed the Industry and Building sector of Ifage. Each year this sector trains more than 1000 students in industry and building skills. After an apprenticeship in micromechanics, Paul Gisimundo trained as an engineer, and then as a quality specialist at the Institute Polytechnique in Paris. He then completed a Master in Finance and industrial organisation.

The Communications Manager is Antonio Spagnolo, Managing Director of ASePLM. Since 1988 he has contributed to the development of 3D CAD in Swiss industry.

The Head of the NPD (New Product Development) Department of the Institute is Dr. Luis Cediel. His experience includes roles of great responsibility in both Switzerland and the United States. He was Director and VP R&D in a world-renowned company for more than 15 years. Afterwards he first became VP R&D and then for 8 years, CEO of a Swiss company of 4,000 people, the world leader in its industry sector. Luis Cediel holds numerous patents.

The Secretary of the PLM Institute is Françoise Bellina, a Course Manager at Ifage.
